About the Art & the Artist

Following a long career in art teaching in schools and more recently qualifying as an Art Psychotherapist, I wanted to create now for myself. The things i was most happy doing, art for my own soul! Okay I do sell my work, but generally it is created purely because it demands to be created.. it demands to 'BE'!

If you are interested in learning any of these techniques, Kris is available to teach workshops to adult or child learners at any level and for Artist in Resident placements. Please contact direct on kristenniamh@googlemail.com

The work can be seen for real at the gallery space / studio at Unit 412, Woodend Mill, Mossley, Tameside, where Kris is a member of Woodend Artists Group. However, as Kris is now working in Hampshire, the Studio is only likely to be open on special 'open' weekends. You are welcome to contact to ask about these.
